Mount Kilimanjaro climbing

Starting Date
The Marangu Route is the only route on Mount Kilimanjaro that offers comfortable hut accommodation instead of camping. Often called the “Coca-Cola Route,” it is one of the oldest and most established paths to the summit.
The 6-day Marangu itinerary is recommended because it includes an extra acclimatization day at Horombo Hut, which significantly improves summit success rates compared to the shorter 5-day climb.
During the trek, climbers pass through diverse ecological zones—from rainforest and moorland to alpine desert and the arctic summit zone—before reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa.
This route is ideal for climbers who prefer a gradual ascent, comfortable huts, and a higher chance of reaching the summit.
